The morning of Saturday March 23rd, we had our clinic trip of the year for the community of Chapultepec in Ensenada, Mexico. We had a total of 13 volunteers and had 1 optometry provider and 5 optometry students also volunteer with us. We had a total of 2 provider cars that left the Stein parking lot at 6:30am and 2 early cars that left at 5:30am to organize and set up the clinic before everyone arrived. The early car arrived at the clinic at around 8:00am and provider cars around 9:00am. With the 1 provider and 5 optometry students, we were able to see 35 patients in total before leaving at 3:00pm. We all ate at the usual taco shop until about 4:15pm and then left for the border. At the border, the wait took about 2.5 hours, and we all arrived at campus around 10:30pm.
